Join us on the last Saturday afternoon of each month! Meet us at the Library for a story, make some art, then head over to the galleries to enjoy our latest exhibition. Open to all ages. Families welcome. Please meet the group in the Madeline F. Whittlesey Community Room at the Richmond Public Library, Main Branch (325 Civic Center Plaza) and we’ll walk as a group over to the Art Center.

We are pleased to host this panel in conjunction with our Summer Exhibition, Glass Currents. Please join us in this discussion about current trends in glass art. The panelists participating are: Dorothy Saxe Joe Morel Randy Strong Steven Aldrich JoAnn Edwards, the Director of the Museum of Craft and Design in San Francisco, will be the moderator. Flameworking Glass Demo

Please join us for an exciting glass demo, in conjunction with our exhibition, Glass Currents! Glass artist Ryan Teurfs of West County Glass will make three pieces from start to finish:  wine glass (chalice and base), a flared dish with a clam shell edge, and a marble utilizing his honeycomb murrini technique. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness how glass art pieces are made!
