No Labels

Artist: Esme Nickerson

Holiday Sales? YES

Work: No Labels is an apparel and goods market specializing in handmade items sourced with recycled materials. The clothes are one of a kind items either repurposed, reworked or made from scratch. Materials are sourced mostly from Creative Reuse and Bay Area Goodwills and Salvation Army Stores. The jewelry is made using second hand beads, with new hardware. Art and Activism have always gone hand in hand weather it is direct or indirect, and Activism is “woven” into the cloth of the No Labels mentality. No Labels is about not letting your expression be boxed in. For the holidays No Labels will be offering 50% off all apparel and jewelry.

About: I am an interdisciplinary creator. The Bay is my home and my inspiration. I have a compulsive drive to make but a general discomfort with how much waste is created for the sake of art. My goal is to continue making without being wasteful. Everything I make has a second hand identity. I love color, custom, and playful creation.
