Mosaic As Public Art

Students design and create mosaic pieces to be installed throughout your site or as part of a community public art effort. They learn about recycling and reuse, using found, rescued pieces and donated materials. They learn to grout and install their pieces on the final surface, which can be a wall, a trashcan or a piece of plywood. High school students receive credit for their community service work in the form of a certificate and/or a letter. Because of the cost, this class is organized as a partnership with your site, company or organization.
