Every year, the Holiday Arts Festival welcomes over 1,000 visitors to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts from local arts and crafts vendors, savor delicious food and drinks, and engage in art-making activities for all ages. The Festival’s gift sale takes place from 10am to 4pm at Richmond Art Center, located at 2540 Barrett Avenue, Richmond.

PARTICIPATING IN THE HOLIDAY ARTS FESTIVAL

  • VENDOR APPLICATION DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2024, 11:59PM
  • Vendor Notification: Tuesday, October 15, 2024
  • Vendor Set Up: Saturday, December 7, 10am to 4pm OR Sunday, December 8, 8:30am-10am
  • Holiday Arts Festival: Sunday, December 8, 10am to 4pm
  • Vendor Deinstall: Sunday, December 8, 4pm to 5:30pm

Call for Arts and Crafts Vendors! Richmond Art Center is now accepting applications from local artists, artisans, crafters, and makers to table at the Holiday Arts Festival. This shop-local event is the perfect opportunity to showcase your work to a creative crowd that loves hand-crafted gifts. Apply by October 2 for a chance to join. No application fee, and first-time vendors are highly encouraged to participate.

Richmond Art Center provides: Vendor contract, table, chair/s, vendor sign (if needed), wall space (as requested/as available), electrical outlet (as requested/as available), time for set-up and deinstall, online vendor listing

Promotion: During the holiday season, Richmond Art Center will be promoting The Holiday Arts Festival via online and print advertising, social media, our e-newsletter, via community partnerships, and at community events. Vendors will also have the opportunity to promote their websites in our online vendor gallery on Richmond Art Center’s website.

Jurying Process: Unfortunately we don’t have space to accept all vendors who apply for a table at the Holiday Arts Festival. As a result applications are juried using the criteria: Artistic Quality; Sales Potential; Media Range Across Vendors; and Community Connection/New Opportunities.

FEES

6 Foot Table Fee: $190 for RAC members; $200 for non-members

4 Foot Half Table Fee: $110 for RAC members; $125 for non-members

These are flat fees. No sales commission is charged.

  • VENDOR APPLICATION

  • If you are applying for a half table, you will be matched with another vendor to share an eight foot long table (four foot space each). We will be matching vendors once the jurying selection has been completed.
  • Vendors requesting half tables have space for one chair. Vendors requesting whole tables can fit up to three chairs.
  • Electrical outlets are limited and reserved only for vendors who need them for their displays (and NOT for charging phones or devices, sorry!).
  • Table fees are discounted for members.
  • Please describe the items you make, and the materials and methods you use.
  • Please give us a few sentences about you and/or your business.
  • If accepted to the festival, Image 1 is the image we will use to represent your work in our online vendor gallery.
    Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, Max. file size: 1 MB.
  • Please share images of the items you will be selling. If you have it, images of your table/booth set up are also helpful.
