Richmond, CA: Richmond Art Center invites the community to the 63rd Annual Holiday Arts Festival on Sunday, December 7, from 10am to 4pm. This long-standing Richmond tradition celebrates local makers and offers opportunities to explore, create, and purchase affordable, one-of-a-kind gifts to give (or keep for yourself!).

At the heart of the festival is the Arts and Crafts Marketplace, featuring unique designs, handmade goods, and artisanal products by over 60 local vendors (see vendor list). For artists like Astrid Reichenbach, the marketplace represents Richmond’s embracing spirit: “The Richmond community is welcoming, kind, and deeply supportive of local artists. I’m always so grateful to be part of such a vibrant gathering of creativity.”

A highlight each year is the popular Ceramics Studio Sale, featuring a variety of handmade, functional ceramics (arrive early, there will be a line). The festival also includes free drop-in art-making activities, pop-ups from Richmond-based community partners, fundraiser raffle, and food by Michoacan Burgers in the courtyard.

Accessibility & Parking: Ample free parking and wheelchair access available. Parking and Entrance Map

Meet Some of Our Vendors:

“I’ll be bringing a fresh collection of hand-printed lino relief prints, along with limited edition giclée prints of my recent paintings inspired by Chicano and Mexican American culture – themes like Día de los Muertos, farmworkers, and local flora and fauna.”

Chris Granillo, Chris Granillo Art

“The Holiday Arts Festival is such a great way to celebrate both creativity and community. I’m excited to share my ceramics and connect with neighbors who love unique, handmade gifts.”

Maria Stokes, Yeobowls Ceramics

“I’ll be selling upcycled clothing featuring hand-carved and hand-printed linoleum designs – a fun way to wear a one-of-a-kind piece of art while keeping textiles out of the landfill!”

Hanna Morris, Hanna Mo Prints

“As The Latina Center, we thank the Richmond Art Center for the opportunity to support and showcase year after year the creative power of the entrepreneurs in our Microenterprise program who offer their handmade products.”

Gloria Isabel Ruiz, The Latina Center

“This will be my first time participating in the Holiday Arts Festival, and I’m looking forward to sharing my small paintings, letterpress cards, and artist books.”
