Welcome Francisco Rojas!
We’re excited to welcome our new intern from California College of the Arts (CCA), Francisco Rojas!
He will be working with us on Fridays and Saturdays 9 – 3. Francisco is studying photography at CCA and is a graduate of Richmond High School. He works at RYSE as their teen photo instructor and his work was featured here at the Richmond Art Center as part of the 2014 American Teenage Project. He was interviewed by Richmond Confidential during the exhibition. http:// richmondconfidential.org/2013/ 12/19/art-event-to-showcase- teen-photography-give-insight- into-growing-up-in-richmond/
Each year nonprofits around the Bay Area apply to the CCA CONNECTS program and are matched with a CCA student who will work for them for one academic year. CCA provides an hourly wage for the students and training and networking opportunities. We are so thrilled to be selected to take part in this program and to have Francisco working with us!
