Student Metals, Jewelry & Glass Exhibition

Exhibition: January 20 – March 20, 2027
Opening Reception: Saturday, January 23, 2027, 1pm-3pm
Location: Community Gallery

Like a jewel box, this exhibition brings together some of the smallest-scale works created in Richmond Art Center’s studios. Featuring sculptural and wearable pieces made with metals, glass, stone, and other materials, the exhibition celebrates the artistry and attention to detail of work from our Metals and Glass Studios. Presented in the Community Gallery.

Student Artist Information: 

  • All Richmond Art Center students who have created work in our Metals or Glass Studios within the past three years are invited to participate.
  • Each student may submit up to three pieces created in our Metals or Glass Studios.
  • Please label each piece with your name, email, phone number, title, year, and medium.
  • Drop off your work at the front desk during gallery hours (Wed-Sat, 10am-4pm).
  • By submitting your work, you agree to the participation terms below.
  • Last Day to Submit Work: Saturday, November 14, 2026

Artwork Pick-Up:

  • Pick up your work during gallery hours between Wednesday, April 14, 2027 and Friday, June 11, 2027.
  • If you cannot pick up your work, please arrange for someone else to do so.
  • Artwork not picked up by Friday, August 20, 2027, and without prior communication from the artist, may be considered abandoned and donated.

EXHIBITION TERMS: Artwork Care and Installation: We will treat your artwork with care and respect. All work will be displayed in secure acrylic vitrines or wall-mounted display cases. Loan Period: Artwork is on loan for the duration of the exhibition. Richmond Art Center reserves the right to withdraw any work at its discretion. Submitted work may not be removed during the exhibition and will not be offered for sale. Photography and Reproduction: Richmond Art Center may photograph or reproduce submitted artwork for educational or publicity purposes.
