Mindful Cross Stitching

Zine Making Series: Visions of EARTHSEED
Inspired by the worlds of science fiction writer Octavia E. Butler, youth and teens will create 3-4 handmade zines on social justice, healing, and community using paint, markers, and collage.

Yarn Magic: Knitting for Kids
Learn to Knit! Kids will learn knitting basics while making fun projects like mini blankets, scarves, or hats. We’ll cover casting on, knitting, purling, and more. Perfect for beginners, but skill levels welcome!

Petal Power Art
Discover the science of natural color! Students will extract pigments from flowers to create botanical prints on paper and fabric, and learn to use mordants for eco-printing. Leave with your own prints, dyed fabric, and new skills. La maestra habla español.
