S.P.O.T.S: Summer Mural Program for Youth

Public art is a powerful tool for community building. This program introduces young artists (ages 14-24) to the means to create vibrant community art works. A cohort of young artists learns about different models of community art projects, helps to define how the program will local youth, and creates a collaborative mural project.

Shaping Identity

Join artist Colleen Garland in an exploration of ceramic artwork and techniques. Students will engage in discussion of pieces made by a variety of ceramic artists who identify as women. They will also receive a hands-on introduction to the practice of wheel throwing.
