Big Feelings: Artist Talk and Circle Making

Saturday, October 18, 2025, 11am–1pm | Free

Richmond Art Center, 2540 Barrett Avenue, Richmond, CA

Join the artists of Big Feelings for an Artist Talk exploring the ideas and processes behind their work.

Architects Ayesha Ateekh, Bhagyasshree Ramakrishna, and Shivani Vinayak Atre will discuss Cascading Cartography, a map of Richmond expressed through emotion, culture, and materiality.

Artist group The Calling (Chantelle Goldthwaite, Yasmin Lambie Simpson, Sheila Metcalf Tobin) will share The 6000 Circle Project, a global collaboration of artists using the circle as a symbol of balance, unity, and the continuous flow of feminine energy and light.

After the talk, participate in a drop-in Circle Making workshop to create your own circles. Snacks provided.

This event is free and open to all. No rsvp is necessary.
