Now in its third year, Richmond Open Studios invites the public to explore the vibrant creative community of Richmond, as local artists open their studios for a weekend of artistic discovery on September 6 and 7.
Begin your journey at Made in Richmond, a preview exhibition where visitors can enjoy a glimpse of work by participating artists – an ideal starting point for planning a self-guided tour through Richmond’s different neighborhoods. Open studios will also be hosted at Point Richmond Gallery, NIAD Art Center, Richmond Museum of History & Culture, and Richmond Art Center.
Richmond Open Studios is organized by the Visual Artists of Richmond, a fiscally sponsored, all-volunteer community dedicated to supporting local artists.
