Richmond, CA: Come celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day at Richmond Art Center! Join the fun on Saturday, October 11, from 12pm to 3pm, at our Fall Family Day open house. This free event is open to kids of all ages and their families, no RSVP is necessary.

Activities include:

  • Performance by Danza Azteca Teokalli
  • Artist talk with Luis Garcia about his exhibition, Seeds of Tradition
  • Screenprinting “Land Back” posters with Julia LaChica
  • Repujado with Rachel-Anne Palacios
  • Zine Making with Shani Ealey

If you haven’t visited Richmond Art Center before, Fall Family Day is the perfect time for families to discover our galleries, peek into the studios, and make art together.

Accessibility, Parking and Public Transportation: Free parking is available in the 25th Street lot across from Richmond Art Center. Wheelchair access is via the Barrett Avenue entrance, next to a lot with six accessible spaces. We’re also accessible by BART, AC Transit, and R-Transit. Parking and Entrance Map
