Richmond, CA: Join the fun at Spring Family Day, a free open house for kids and families at Richmond Art Center on Saturday, April 25, from 12pm to 3pm. This year’s theme, “Making and Growing Across Generations,” celebrates how creativity connects people of all ages. Family members across generations are invited to explore the galleries and get hands-on with drop-in art-making activities in our courtyard.

Activities include:

  • Making your own seed paper
  • Painting bisqueware
  • Coloring activity sheets designed by local artists
  • The Gift” community project
  • Gallery Search & Find with prizes

Carquinez Environmental Education Center will be sharing about their native plant restoration efforts.

Plus, there’ll be a special Elders Writing and Movement Workshop (registration required for this).

Spring Family Day is a free event, open to all, and no RSVP is required.

Accessibility, Parking and Public Transportation: Free parking is available in the 25th Street lot across from Richmond Art Center.
