Collage Club – Class 5 (adult class)

Have fun with paper and colors as we learn about the history of collage making and make our own takes on collage landscapes, figurative work, and sculptural pieces. Sign up for one or all five classes!

Rag Lab – Class 3: T-Shirt Collage (adult class)

Rag Lab is a series of workshops exploring ways to create interesting garments using mainly pre-worn clothing and found materials. If you have a pile of clothing in your life that you’re not feeling thrilled about wearing, Rag Lab is the perfect place to breathe new life into old rags. Sign up for one or all four classes!

Class 3: T-Shirt Collage (Sewing machine optional). We will add personality to a T-shirt using scraps and hand stitching. Additional materials needed: T-shirt, fabric scraps in fun colors and patterns, embroidery thread of different colors. (Optional: trims and ribbon)

Mixed Media, Class 4: Collage (youth class)

Inspired by the work of Faith Ringgold, students will listen to a reading of Tar Beach and create their own narrative illustration and patterns to collage a paper quilt.

Eco Friendly Art Making helps students to think creatively and resourcefully about natural materials and making art! This class will focus on collages, making animals just using twigs and leaves.
