Volunteering

The Richmond Art Center wants you!

When you volunteer with us, not only will you gain valuable experience that you can take with you throughout your life, but you can:

  • make a difference
  • engage with the community
  • immerse yourself in art
  • make valuable connections and meet amazing people

By volunteering at The Richmond Art Center, you not only help to make art more accessible to our surrounding communities, but can participate in a variety of events, workshops, and opportunities where you will be surrounded by amazing art and even more amazing people!

We have a variety of possibilities available for our volunteers, some of which include, supporting our wonderful teachers, helping with annual community events, getting involved with outreach and support, and assisting our amazing exhibitions department. These make up only a few of the exciting opportunities available at the Art Center!

We are flexible with schedules, and are mindful that every volunteer comes in with different expectations. Contact our volunteer coordinator to find out how to make your volunteer experience as fruitful as possible.

If you have a passion for art, a desire to help your community, are looking for an opportunity to develop leadership skills, or are just looking to get more involved, fill out an application today!
