Teaching Artist, Youth Programs
Posted 1/27/25: Richmond Art Center is looking for a Teaching Artist for our Youth Programs. The Youth Teaching Artist (YTA) collaborates with the Education Department team to develop curriculum and unique offerings, such as classes, workshops or programs. The YTA is an important part of RAC’s staff and is entrusted with the support and care of our young community members. In addition to speaking English, the ideal candidate speaks, reads and writes fluently in Spanish or Mandarin. This position is as a casual employee, 7-12 hrs a week, $35 per hour. Teaching Artist

We have dedicated studios for Jewelry & Metal Arts, Printmaking, Ceramics, Fiber Art, Glass Arts and Painting/Drawing/Mixed Media. Teaching Artists (TA) collaborate with the Education Department team to develop curriculum and unique offerings, such as classes, workshops and other programs. Our TAs are an important part of RAC’s staff and are entrusted with the support and care of all our community members. In addition to speaking English, candidates who speak, read and write fluently in Spanish or Mandarin are ideal.
