Student Printmaking Exhibition

Exhibition: September 2 – November 19, 2026
Opening Reception & 90th Anniversary Party: Saturday, August 29, 12pm-3pm
Location: Community Gallery

Showcasing relief, screen, woodblock, monotype, and cyanotype prints by Richmond Art Center’s printmaking students. Works will be displayed salon-style, both framed and unframed, creating a vibrant celebration of student creativity. This exhibition is part of Richmond Art Center’s 90th Anniversary celebrations.

If you’d like to contribute further, artists may donate their work after the exhibition. We are also planning a print sale at the Holiday Arts Festival, with all proceeds supporting Richmond Art Center.

How to Participate: 

  • All past and present Richmond Art Center printmaking students are invited to participate.
  • Students may submit up to five pieces.
  • Prepare your work:
    • Label your work on the back with: Name, Title, Year, Medium, Email, & Phone.
    • Works may be framed or unframed (note: unframed works may be displayed using push pins)
  • Drop off your work:
    • Bring your artwork to the front desk during gallery hours (Wed-Sat, 10am-4pm).
    • By submitting artwork, you agree to the participation terms below.
    • Submission deadline: Saturday, August 15, 2026

Artwork Pick-Up:

  • Pick up your work on Friday, November 20, 2026, 11am-3pm OR Saturday, November 21, 2026, 11am-3pm
  • If you cannot pick up your work, please arrange for someone else to do so.
  • Any unclaimed work – without prior communication from artist – after Wednesday, November 25, 2026, will be considered donated to Richmond Art Center.

EXHIBITION TERMS: Artwork will be handled with care; however, push pins may be used on the edges of prints for installation (please frame your work if you prefer this not be the case). Artwork will not be available for sale while on view. The center reserves the right to remove work at its discretion. Photos of exhibited pieces may be used for educational and publicity purposes.
