Cartoon Creations
Learn animation using Procreate – one of today’s most popular digital art tools. With guidance from a professional digital artist, students will explore the building blocks of character design and world-building to create their very own cartoons. iPads with Procreate will be used; bring your own or Richmond Art Center will lend iPads with styluses during class. Instructor: Swaleha M. (Swaleha is trilingual English, Urdu and Punjabi)

The Joy of Sunprinting
Tell your story through cyanotype! In this class, students will explore collage, mixed media, and sunprinting while learning how to creatively archive personal and family histories using photos, drawings, plants, and more. Instructor: Bella B.

Mixed Media Drawing
Explore making spontaneous drawings, playing with different media, and building on the magic that comes from their interactions. We will create dynamic, vibrant images using different media such as soft and oil pastels, gouache, watercolor, crayon, pencil and more, and can apply the techniques learned to both abstract and more representational drawing styles. Come away with new ideas of how to make a drawing and have fun learning! All experience levels are welcome. Instructor: Anjelica C.
