An environmental justice art activation featuring local youth talent!

Greenhouse Live is a youth talent showcase and open mic event that calls for justice in response to the environmental crisis. 

Featured performers are spoken word artists Anizha aka Spoken Soul, Damien Rozell Pope Jr, and Tajanique Bell. Singer Lai’john Hawkins will perform, and visual artist Belle Garcia will present work.

With special guest poet, actor, and community activist Donté Clark!

This event will also celebrate the launch of Richmond Art Center’s new mural, Epic Struggle / Battle Royal.

Greenhouse Live is presented in partnership with Studio 212, a non-profit providing music therapy, health and wellness, financial literacy and mentoring for youth. www.stu212music.org

OPEN MIC

To perform in the Open Mic: Sign up on the day of the event at 5pm. The first 5 sign-ups are guaranteed to perform, with additional artists if time allows. Plan to do up to two songs/poems (limit stage time to 5-8 minutes, time permitted).
