Richmond Art Center wants you!

Richmond Art Center relies on volunteers to support our programs and services. Whether assisting with events, exhibitions, summer camp, or in the studios, volunteers help strengthen our community while gaining valuable experience. Flexible shifts available.

Volunteer Benefits

Volunteer Benefits

  • 15 volunteer hours: 25% off a class or workshop
  • 25 volunteer hours: 50% off a class or workshop, or an Individual Membership (includes: 10% discount on classes and NARM benefits)
  • 40 volunteer hours: Family Membership 
  • Letters of recommendation (for qualifying volunteers)
  • Fulfillment of school or court-mandated community service requirements
  • Networking opportunities with fellow volunteers and staff 
  • Skill-building opportunities 

Join Our Team

New volunteers attend an in-person orientation and sign a Volunteer Agreement, which covers policies, procedures, and a liability waiver. After signing up, you’ll be added to an email list to receive updates about volunteer opportunities.
