Friends and Makers! Teaching artist Dawn Gonzales is teaching the Turkish Map Paper Folding technique at a fun and free event sponsored by Girls, Inc. with The Richmond Art Center. On Saturday, August 27th, meet Dawn at the Madeline F. Whittlesey Room in the Richmond Public Library. We'll start with a story, continue with a book art-making project, and then finish with a guided tour of the galleries at the Art Center. Free and open to kids of all ages!

The Richmond Art Center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board, which is elected by our members, is responsible for the Art Center’s financial health and achievement of its mission. Our Board generally meets on the 3rd Thursday (except November and December) of each month at 5:30 pm in the Art Center’s Resource Room. Members and the public are invited to attend Board meetings, unless an Executive Session is called.
